TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: August 18, 2026
Plain-English note: this page covers how quotes and website use work. The actual tuning work on your vehicle is governed by a written service agreement and liability waiver that we both sign before any work begins. Where they differ, the signed agreement controls. Using this website means you accept these terms.

1. Who we are

3AM Tuning provides custom GM ECU and transmission calibration, E85/flex-fuel tuning, standalone and aftermarket EFI work (HP Tuners, Holley EFI, and related platforms), and diagnostics. We operate out of Portal, Georgia, serving Southeast Georgia in person and other areas by remote tuning.

2. Quotes and the intake form

Submitting the intake form, emailing us, or messaging the Facebook page is a quote request only. It does not create a service agreement, reserve a date, or obligate either of us to anything. Quotes are based on the information you give us and may change if the vehicle turns out to be different from what was described.

Booking and paying through our checkout page is different: completing checkout places your order in the work queue and forms a service agreement on these Terms for that order. See section 8.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Calibration results

Every calibration is custom work on your specific vehicle. Results depend on the vehicle's hardware, condition, fuel, and operating environment. We do not guarantee specific power numbers, fuel-economy figures, or timeslips.

5. Right to decline work

We reserve the right to decline any request we judge unsafe for the engine or drivetrain, inconsistent with our emissions policy, or outside what the vehicle's hardware can safely support. If we decline mid-job because the vehicle turned out to be different from what was described, you pay for the work performed to that point.

6. Calibration files and refunds

A completed calibration is custom intellectual property built for your specific vehicle. Once a tune file has been delivered or flashed to your vehicle, that work is non-refundable. Calibration files remain our work product; you receive the right to use them on the vehicle they were built for, not to resell or redistribute them.

Drop-off work paid by payment link. If we decline your job after you have paid (see section 5), you get a full refund. Once a tune file has been delivered or flashed to your vehicle, the work is non-refundable. If you cancel before work begins, you get a full refund minus any HP Tuners credits already applied to your VIN (those are non-refundable per section 7). Revision support is the same as remote: no limit, no expiry, for the vehicle as described.

Prepaid remote work. You can cancel for a full refund any time before your first tune file is sent. After the first file is delivered, the work is non-refundable — but revision support is honored in full, and we keep revising until it drives the way it should — no revision limit and no expiry, for the vehicle as described in your intake. If the hardware changes after delivery — camshaft, injectors, pulley or turbo, boost target, gearing — that is a new calibration, quoted separately. If we decline your job after you have paid (see section 5), you get a full refund. Refunds go back to the card used at checkout.

Prepaid mobile work. Mobile sessions are paid in full before the scheduled date, because the appointment reserves travel time. Cancel 48 or more hours before your date and you get a full refund, no questions.

If you cancel inside 48 hours, are not there at the scheduled time, or the vehicle is not mechanically ready when we arrive, an $80 travel fee applies — that covers the trip and the fuel. What happens next is your choice:

7. Third-party licensing and credits

Some work requires third-party licensing purchased for your specific vehicle (for example, HP Tuners credits applied to your VIN). Once applied, those licenses are tied to your vehicle and are non-refundable and non-transferable — that is the third party's policy, not ours.

8. Payment, scheduling, and cancellation

Drop-off work paid by payment link. When you pay through a payment link we send you for in-person drop-off calibration, completing checkout forms a service agreement on these Terms for that order. The price shown includes base calibration labor and two HP Tuners credits at cost; additional credits, unlock services, and transmission tuning are itemized separately on your final invoice. A separate written service agreement and liability waiver is signed before road testing or any owner-operated session. If you need to reschedule, tell us as early as you can.

Remote work booked online is paid in full up front through our checkout page; tune files are delivered after payment clears. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Prices shown at remote checkout cover calibration labor only; HP Tuners credits and unlock service are purchased by you directly from HP Tuners on your own VCM account (see section 7). Refund terms are in section 6.

9. Factory warranty

Modifying a vehicle's calibration may affect its manufacturer warranty. That is between you and the manufacturer or dealer; it is your decision and your responsibility.

10. Emissions

We follow federal and state emissions law. See our Emissions & Compliance Notice for the full policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Georgia law, 3AM Tuning's total liability for any claim arising from services or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the service at issue, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including damage arising from undisclosed modifications or pre-existing mechanical faults. The signed service agreement and waiver for your job set out the complete allocation of risk.

12. This website

Site content — text, images, and the 3AM Tuning name and logos — belongs to 3AM Tuning and may not be reused without permission. Logos of calibration platforms shown on the site (HP Tuners, Holley, and others) belong to their respective owners; their appearance describes the platforms we work with and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Questions: Joey3AM@3amtuning.com.
